Daydream
2021
Daydream was inspired by Alex Sommers' soundtrack for the documentary Audrey. The soundtrack has many beautiful ambient tracks allowing the audience to be filled with emotions. I really wanted to capture the similar intimate and playful aspects found throughout the touching documentary.
Pieces of the Past
2021
Pieces of the Past was created with the goal of making a simple piano piece that was able to express a peaceful mood. While creating the track memories of past experiences were brought back paving way for the track's name. The idea of being able to sit down and fully play one of my own songs as it is in the recording was what lead me to make Pieces of the Past.
Between the Lines (EP)
2021
Between the Lines was my first EP with a total run time of 10 minutes and 27 seconds. The collection of 4 tracks was created with a goal to create an eerie atmosphere by the use of orchestral elements. I was looking to create something off my normal path of electronic music. I had been exploring/studying film score which lead Between the Lines to be my first real attempt at creating score-like music. The EP mainly consists of pianos and violins while synthesizers helped to create an atmospheric depth. After finishing the EP
Encounter (Single)
2021
Encounter is an ambient electronic single. The track was inspired by David Fincher’s The Social Network, scored by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. The film's score which was filled with synthesizers, sparked my inspiration to create Encounter. The film's content of technology was reflected in the score which filled my head with ideas. I attempted to create a track reflecting the film as he imagined different scenes holding his track in the background in an attempt to create the proper atmosphere.
64 (Single)
2020
64 was inspired by Tangerine Dreams’ Love on a Real Train. The pitch bends that can be heard in the track were used in an attempt to create an atmosphere of deep thought such as how Love on a Real Train was used in David Slade’s Netflix interactive film, Black Mirror Bandersnatch.
